Arrival of 12 P-51 Mustang
Airbase 11VB Polonia - Medan - Sumatra Under the command of Captain Gerard Deibel, the first 12 P-51D of the squadron arrived november 15 1946 on Polonia from Tjililitan on Java, flying a distance of 1390 km.
The Mustangs were accompanied by a Mitchell B-25 with a team from the technical service under the command of adjudant C.W. Bastiaans.
